Flange Office (Shipping and Logistics, Quality Assurance)

Our Flange Office consists of Shipping and Logistics team in the Manufacturing Group and Quality Assurance Team and Quality Management Team in the Quality Assurance Group. Currently, Quality Assurance Group is working hard so that staffs can acquire qualifications regarding Non-Destructive Testing (PU, UT and MT). 





 

Shipping and Logistics Team in the Manufacturing Group of the Flange Unit

Shipping and Logistics Team makes a smooth cooperation with various divisions to ship products promptly and ensures that daily operations are conducted properly.

 

Quality Management Team and Quality Assurance Team in the Quality Assurance Group

One of the major roles of the Quality Management Team is to perform a mechanical test. The test is aimed at ensuring that the strength of the steel is in compliance with JIS and other standards. The process is indispensable when all the manufacturing processes are conducted in-house. 

Equipment for mechanical test at the Flange Inspection Room is handled by the inspection staff with knowhow and expertise.

Quality Assurance Team issues certificates that meet customers’ request such as JIS, JPI and other standards. (Those for non-standard products may be issued if necessary.)

Flanges are used by being welded to pipes. As such, dimensions of flanges are precisely measured. Only those products that passed pre-shipment testing are shipped.
