What we do – Logistic Group

Delivering products to customers is the main mission of the Logistic Group. Our tasks include receiving, unpacking, inspection, and storage as well as shipping of products according to the shipping instructions from the sales operation team. We also manage auxiliary materials needed for delivery.

When it comes to packing, it is no easy task for those who have less experiences to prepare and package goods properly.

Cardboard could be damaged if the goods are not packed properly. If the packaged cardboard box is too heavy or if there are gaps inside, these are not good either. We need to make judgement on whether to use one box or divide into two boxes, or what kind of box to use, and more. These tasks must be conducted in an accurate and timely manner.

Enhancing customer satisfaction from the perspective of Logistic Group

Even a single tag which we attach to the packaged product at the time of shipping is delicate enough to reflect our feelings to the customer. We are aware that our role is directly connected with our customers.

If not obvious Although it is a part that is not visible, we believe that we should not overlook the important fact that we are in a position of working directly with our customers.

Improvement activities and 4S meeting

We have constantly tried to share information internally and put it into practice to maintain and improve them. Each member of the group took the initiative to raise their own ideas and put them together and worked hard with each other by holding reporting sessions and sharing improvement cases.

The logistics department has three bases, Sumoto Logistics Center, Tokyo Logistics Center, and Kyushu Logistic Center, which are located far from each other. Therefore, we try to actively communicate with each other.

We have also continued "4S meeting" with a policy of organizing (Seiri), keeping things in order (Seiton), cleaning (Seiso), and cleanliness (Seiketsu). 4S stands for the first letter of each four. We also utilize chat to enjoy communication with each other.
